Eat Sleep Race’s Warehouse Sunday

A little of this, a little of that. Sometimes you just need to go back to your roots and support the local meets. If you had asked me when was the last time I went to an ESR meet, I would tell you it was probably in 2017. Warehouse Wednesdays at the old warehouse and I was in my M240i.

Fast forward to this weekend. I figured I would check it out since I didn’t feel like going to an over the top “downtown cruise”. I really could care less about some garage queen and the owner throwing a hissy fit because a well maintained MKI GTI parks next to it. Mixing the high and low, show car and race car and being able to network with each other is what I’m about. Take the Italian sports car and your pompous attitude elsewhere.

It was nice to see a local business like ESR grow into what it has become and see some of the cars/owners from back then still show up and support. For a brand that has always been associated with the JDM scene, there was a good amount of variety. Euros and domestics, cars with just aesthetic moods to full builds. Hopefully we’ll get to see more of these Warehouse Sundays in the near future. Until then, check out some of the photos I took below.
